Good Friday: A Day of Sacrifice and Redemption
Good Friday is a solemn day in which we remember the Passion and death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is a day of silence, reflection, and deep gratitude for the sacrifice that Jesus made for our salvation.
Through His suffering, Jesus showed the depth of God's love for humanity. He took upon Himself our sins and gave His life so that we might have eternal life.
On this day, the Church invites us to enter into prayer, fasting, and reflection. As we venerate the cross, we are reminded that even in suffering, there is hope, because God's love is stronger than sin and death.
Good Friday challenges us to carry our own crosses with faith and to trust in God’s plan, even in difficult moments.
